What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering high-quality teaching in workshop engineering and related disciplines
- Supporting learners through practical and theoretical learning sessions
- Developing engaging schemes of work and lesson materials
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and productive workshop environment
- Supporting apprentices and full-time learners to achieve their qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- Strong industry experience in engineering (mechanical, manufacturing, or related fields)
- Teaching experience in FE is desirable, though not essential for the right candidate
- A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Excellent communication and classroom/workshop management skills
- A commitment to learner success and high-quality vocational training
