Job Title: Cleaning Operative Location: Hereford, HR1 (School Based)
Always Responsive Commercial Cleaning is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at a school sites in Hereford.
You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for staff and pupils by ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned to the required standards.
A fully enhanced DBS check is required for this role
Working Hours
Role 1 - Monday - Friday 3.30pm-6.30pm
Role 2 - Monday - Friday 4pm-7pm
Working Pattern
This is a term-time position, working 38 weeks per year plus 5 additional deep cleaning weeks during school holiday periods.
Pay
£13.45 per hour.
This role is based on term-time working (38 weeks) plus 5 deep cleaning weeks. Pay is calculated based on these working weeks and paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities Vacuuming, mopping and dusting surfaces Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately Replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels and toilet roll Operating cleaning equipment and machinery where required Following cleaning schedules and instructions Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
What We Are Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential Reliable and punctual
- Good attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive and professional attitude
