Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant – SEN School | Surbiton| 99.00 - £135.00 per day| July 2026 – July 2027
Are you a proactive and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking to support Year 4 SEN pupils in the second half of their academic year?
Masterclass Education is working with a wonderful SEN School in Surbiton to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a Year 4 class, starting in June 2026. This is one of our favourite SEN Schools in SW London and we work very closely with SLT to ensure we have the right people going in. Many of our long term candidates choose to accept permanent roles at this school after a period on supply so we know this is a great opportunity to work at an outstanding SEN School! The school are looking to continue this placement into the next academic year and eventually offer the successful applicant a permanent position on their team!

The Role:
- Working with a bubbly Year 4 class of 8 students with Autism
- Assisting the class teacher with preparation, behaviour management, and individual support.
- Helping students to carry out their daily routines and activities
- Providing feedback on learning progress and supporting interventions.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous TA experience, preferably in Lower Key Stage 2.
- Experience working with special needs and disabilities
- A calm, friendly, and resilient nature.
- A genuine interest in education and helping children succeed.
