Multimodal Logistics Ltd is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for container transport and general haulage across the UK. Based in Felixstowe, this role involves port collections, container deliveries, and nationwide distribution.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for container deliveries and collections
- Carry out daily walkaround checks and vehicle defect reporting
- Ensure compliance with DVSA regulations, drivers’ hours, and tachograph rules
- Plan routes effectively to meet deadlines and delivery schedules
- Complete all transport documentation, delivery notes, and PODs accurately
- Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and clients
- Follow all health & safety and company procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 1 / C+E driving experience
- Proven experience in container work / port work (essential)
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong knowledge of UK road transport laws and compliance
- Good understanding of Felixstowe port operations (preferred)
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexible attitude to working hours and operational demands

Pay: £43,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
