Beginning your journey within the Internal Sales team, you'll gain a thorough understanding of the business, its products and customers, before progressively taking on greater responsibility and developing your own portfolio.
You'll work closely with experienced sales professionals, receiving ongoing coaching, mentoring and negotiation training, whilst gaining exposure to key commercial and technical functions across the business.
Upon successful completion of the programme, you'll be fully prepared to manage your own sales territory within the flexible packaging division.
Supporting the Sales team with the preparation, coordination and follow-up of customer meetings
Developing a strong understanding of bespoke packaging products and industry trends
Building relationships with existing customers whilst identifying opportunities for growth
Assisting with new business development activities and customer acquisition
Gaining exposure to internal departments including production, applications engineering and commercial teams
Learning how to effectively prepare for and conduct customer presentations and negotiations
Monitoring market activity, competitor movements and customer developments
Supporting order processing and day-to-day account management activities
Preparing to independently manage a defined sales territory following completion of the programme
We're keen to speak with individuals who are eager to establish a career in sales and who enjoy building relationships, solving problems and working towards targets.
You will ideally have:
A degree, although this is not essential
A genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career within B2B sales
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
An interest in technical products and manufacturing environments
A confident and personable manner, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues
Fluency in written and spoken English
The ability to work on-site in Westbury, Monday to Friday
