SEN Administrator - Term time (32 academic weeks plus Inset days) + 10 additional days | Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 16:30 Friday 08:30 – 13:30

We’re looking for a highly organised, process-driven SEN Administrator to support our SENCo team and ensure the smooth running of statutory SEN processes.
This is a specialist administrative role where attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow (and appropriately apply) established processes is essential. You’ll be managing complex casework, coordinating annual reviews, and working to strict legal deadlines — so accuracy and reliability really matter.
Purpose of Role
To provide consistently high-quality effective and confidential administrative support to SENCo’s, ensuring the smooth operation of SEN processes and compliance with statutory requirements. The SEN Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the SENCo’s, and wider team in delivering inclusive education to our students and meeting statutory requirements.

Person specification
Education · GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Maths (E)
Training and Experience
Proven administrative experience, ideally within an educational or SEN environment. (E) · Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. (E) · Experience of detailed and accurate minute taking. (E) · Experience using school management information systems (e.g. SIMS, StudyBugs, TES Provision Map) is highly desirable. (D) · Role of the SEND/ALN Administrator course or similar. (D) Skills and Knowledge · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals. (E) · Good understanding of SEN processes, terminology, and documentation. (D) · Awareness of confidentiality, data protection, and compliance requirements ideally within SEN work. (E) · Awareness of safeguarding and child protection protocols, with an understanding of their application in educational settings. (E) · Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities calmly and efficiently, especially when working to tight deadlines. (E) · Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting. (E) · The ability to interpret information and situations in order to solve problems. (E) Personal Qualities · Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently and unsupervised as well as part of a team.
