About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in DY1, Dudley. This is a full-time role supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
To be considered, you Ideally hold a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent). This role is ideal for a passionate and skilled TA who can provide tailored support to children in both group and one-to-one settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted SEN support to students, adapting lessons to individual needs.
- Assist with behavioural management and emotional regulation strategies.
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Help create an inclusive and structured learning environment.
- Support students’ academic progress and personal development.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification (or equivalent) - Desirable
- Experience working with SEN students, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children’s needs
