Position: Clinical Care Nurse - Complex Care
Location: West Midlands Hybrid / Remote
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + mileage at 0.25p per mile
Bonus: KPI bonus based on achieving hours of service delivery / retention / procurement.

Job Summary
As a Complex Care Nurse Specialist (CCNS) at iCare Living, you will:
- Oversee the clinical needs of our Domiciliary clients.
- You will lead your team in delivering outstanding care and will be responsible for providing both theoretical and practical training to Complex Health Care Assistants..
- Ensure that care assistants are competent in delivering specific delegated tasks.
- Collaborate regularly with the Operations team to maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Visit your clients as specified, ensuring high standards of care, client safety, and happiness.
- Support the Clinical Lead with clinical documentation, practice, and training updates.
- Liaise with external professionals, adhering to NICE guidance and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and liaise with the Registered Manager for continuous improvement.About You
You are a professional, organized, and flexible nurse who thrives on problem-solving and teamwork. You have:
- A registered nurse qualification with a current PIN.
- Experience in high dependency settings (ITU, HDU, PICU, ER, etc.).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for promoting best practices and standards of care.
- The ability to manage an ever-changing diary and visit clients in their homes.
- Good IT and written skills.
What You’ll Do
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing clinical support for allocated clients across several areas which may include Perry Barr, Great Barr, Handsworth, Nechells, Aston, City Centre, and Harborne,Erdington, Perry Common, Walmley, Castle Vale, Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield, Four Oaks, and Reddicap
- Ensuring compliance with mandatory and specialist training for care staff.
- Conducting meet and greets, risk assessments, reviews, and audits.
- Maintaining accurate medication records and completing audits.
- Handling compliments and complaints, and taking disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Providing emergency shift cover as needed.
- Using our systems for accurate record-keeping.
- Completing weekly KPI reports and supporting peers in meeting targets.
- Assisting in pre-assessments of new clients.
- Reviewing and updating care plans and clinical risk assessments.
- Participating in our on-call service and attending regular meetings and training sessions.
- Liaising with CCG/Commissioners and external professionals to deliver the best care.
