GSL Education is recruiting on behalf of a growing nursery in Watford for an experienced and ambitious Nursery Manager to lead and develop its early years provision.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an established Nursery Manager or a strong Deputy Nursery Manager ready to take the next step in their career. Joining a nursery with exciting growth plans, you will play a key role in shaping a high-quality early years environment and driving continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring outstanding standards of care, education, safeguarding, and operational performance.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the nursery team.
- Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
- Drive occupancy growth and maintain excellent relationships with parents and carers.
- Manage staffing, rotas, and performance effectively.
- Promote a positive culture focused on delivering outstanding childcare and education.
- Oversee the learning and development of children across all age groups.
- Ensure the nursery operates efficiently and in line with policies and procedures.
- Relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above).
- Previous experience in a Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Experience leading, supporting, and developing teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education.
- Salary of £40,000+ per annum, depending on experience.
