Key Responsibilities
As Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting both the young people and the staff team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building positive, trusting relationships with young people while safeguarding and promoting their welfare
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the home
- Supervising staff, leading shifts, coordinating rotas, and facilitating team meetings
- Supporting education plans, care planning, and placement outcomes
- Ensuring policies, procedures, and risk assessments are fully compliant and up to date
- Providing guidance, leadership, and support to the wider team

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum age of 22 years (Ofsted requirement)
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- At least 2 years’ experience working within residential childcare settings
- Experience supporting children and young people
- A full UK manual driving licence
- The right to work in the UK indefinitely without sponsorship
