Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children during organised activities and free play sessions. Responsibilities
- Organise and supervise play activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development.
- Ensure the safety of all children during playtime by monitoring their behaviour and environment closely.
- Support children in engaging with a variety of toys, games, and learning resources.
- Assist with behavioural management and conflict resolution when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive experience for all.
- Maintain a clean and organised play area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Support children with special needs or additional requirements as needed.
- Assist with organising outings or trips if required, including driving responsibilities where applicable.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in roles such as nannying, childcare assistant is highly desirable.
- Skills in driving are advantageous for organising outings or trips.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Experience in childcare settings demonstrates an understanding of child development principles and safety protocols.
- A caring attitude, patience, and excellent communication skills are vital qualities for success in this role.
