Job Purpose
The Manufacturing Operative is responsible for assembling conveyor systems and components in accordance with engineering drawings, production schedules and quality standards. The role involves working as part of a production team to ensure conveyors are assembled safely, efficiently and to the required specifications and standards.
Required Experience
Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly work would be advantageous. However, this is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assemble conveyor systems and related components using hand and power tools.
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical specifications
- Install mechanical components such as rollers, frames, belts, motors and brackets etc
- Ensure products are assembled to company quality standards
- Conduct basic quality checks during the assembly process
- Report any faults, damaged materials, or assembly issues to the production supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines
- Assist with packing and preparation of finished conveyor systems when required
