Summary
We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our team in Grimsby. In this role you will be planning and optimizing transportation operations and liasing with drivers. You will be integral to the business and comunicate with customers and suppliers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive transportation plans that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and legal regulations.
- Optimize routing and scheduling to reduce costs and delivery times.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives related to transportation issues.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
