As a Community Carer, you can make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people in your local area, giving them the support they need to live independently in their own homes. No specific qualifications or background in care is required to become a care assistant - what's more important is that you have a natural calling to care for people. We will provide all the training you need to become one of our exceptional team members.
We reward our team generously for the support they give the community. Our full time team members earn upwards from £28,000 per annum. We offer competitive rates of pay and a training programme, plus extra training when it's needed from an organisation that truly values you.
Positions Available
We are currently seeking Community Carers for several areas in East Cornwall (Saltash, Callington, Liskeard and Torpoint).
Full-time and part-time positions are available. All shift patterns include working every other weekend and some evening hours. Weekend only shift patterns are also available.
- No experience is required, as full training is provided, as well as comprehensive training throughout your career to support you in being outstanding in your profession.
- Up to 28 days paid holiday, pro rata
- Hourly rate from £14.50
- Overtime available
- Additional travel time enhancements provided
- Mileage paid weekly, at a rate of 45 pence per mile.
- All paid basic training

Requirements
Whilst you don't need to have previous experience within the Care Industry, there are some eligibility requirements. To be eligible to apply for this role, you must:
- Have the full right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship)
- Have access to a road-legal vehicle
- Hold a full UK driving license
- Be over 18 years of age
In addition, all applicants need to be able to demonstrate clear and effective communication in both written and verbal forms.
