Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years experience cooking in fast paced kitchens. This is a busy kitchen during the tourist season and we pride ourselves on our good Scottish food. We have a young and dynamic team and the right candidate would be expected to take the lead in the kitchen guiding the team when the Head Chef is away from the kitchen.
Duties:
- All aspects of food production in the kitchen
- Help create and prepare high-quality dishes
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training and guidance
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
- Collaborate with management on specials planning and pricing
Skills:
- Experience in a kitchen(6 years minimum)
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficient in supervising kitchen operations
- Excellent food preparation skills
- Knowledge of food production techniques
