Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Plumber & Gas Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and gas systems in commercial properties such as offices, schools, hospitals, and industrial facilities. You will ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
Main Duties
- Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in heating and plumbing systems and controls systems.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation, building codes, and Gas Safe regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service on every job
- Complete job reports and relevant documentation accurately
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)
- Gas Safe registered (essential)
- A general controls knowledge would be an advantage but is not necessary.
- Proven experience in commercial plumbing and gas work.
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards
- Security screening will be required, involves a full DBS check.
- Must be able to work out of hours
