The Dean Banks Group is excited to launch Amber, a new Mediterranean-inspired restaurant opening in St Andrews this summer. Drawing influence from the coasts of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean, Amber will focus on exceptional ingredients, vibrant flavours, and warm hospitality in a stylish new setting.
We are now looking for a Chef de Partie to join the opening kitchen team, with a start date at the end of July.
The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your section, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and supporting the senior kitchen team in delivering an exceptional dining experience. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new opening and help shape the kitchen culture from day one.
What You'll Do
- Manage your section during preparation and service
- Maintain excellent standards of food quality and consistency
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef
- Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are met
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to a growing team
- Support junior members of the kitchen brigade
We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
- Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Interest in Mediterranean and Portuguese cuisine
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a busy, professional kitchen
- A positive attitude and team-focused approach
