Nursery Practitioner - Early Years Educator (Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified)

Location: Dean Close Little Trees Nurseries across several sites in Chelteham, Tewkesbury and Gloucester
Salary: £13.62 per hour
Hours: 16-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
About the Role
Due to continued growth within our nursery, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our team. Rated the Highest Nursery ratings by Parents on Day Nurseries within the region. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high-quality setting committed to delivering exceptional care and education.
You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, working collaboratively with colleagues to create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
- Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Ensure a safe, secure, and inclusive environment at all times
- Act as a key person, supporting children’s individual needs and development
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
What We’re Looking For
- Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, reliable, and positive approach
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
