Clinical Lead
Lawrence Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to provide senior clinical leadership across our services such as ENT, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Gynaecology, General Surgery, Plastics, Dermatology, Urology and Maxillofacial Surgery.
This key role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care, underpinned by strong clinical governance and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Medical Director, the Clinical Lead will work closely with senior medical, nursing, and operational leaders to drive clinical quality, service development, and patient safety. The role includes oversight and implementation of clinical pathways, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and acting as the senior clinical decision-maker for complex cases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing visible clinical leadership and oversight
- Leading clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement
- Supporting and developing multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Driving service development and improvement initiatives
- Promoting excellent patient safety and experience
- Representing Lawrence Health with external partners and stakeholders
We are looking for:
Primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent recognised medical qualification)
Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise
Significant post-qualification clinical experience as a medical doctor
Proven leadership experience within a clinical setting
Strong communication, decision-making, and collaborative leadership skills
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior clinician to influence service delivery, shape clinical standards, and make a meaningful impact on patient care at Lawrence Health.
You would initially be offered a one-year contract based on sessional work. It is expected that initial input will be more significant as pathways are set up and guidelines put in place. Once established, the input will then reduce.
Pay: £1,000.00 per day
