SEN Teacher – Hinckley, Leicestershire
Salary: £32,916 to £45,535 (M1 to M6)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role
You’ll teach learners aged 7–19, working in small groups or 1:1 to deliver an engaging, adaptable curriculum for Key Stage 3. Subjects include:
- Maths
- English
- PSHE
- Cooking
- Preparation for Adulthood (PFA)
You’ll work closely with Site Lead Teachers to create innovative, holistic learning experiences tailored to each learner’s needs, interests and goals. Your teaching will support academic progress, emotional development and social confidence — always with wellbeing and inclusion at the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and review personalised learning programmes
- Create multi?sensory, engaging lessons that meet diverse needs
- Advocate for learners and involve them in shaping their education
- Support Learning Managers with profiles, SEN information, assessments and progress tracking
- Contribute to curriculum development and subject improvement
- Maintain accurate records and support reporting (e.g., EHCPs, transitions)
- Commit to ongoing professional development and best practice in SEN

Skills & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- SEN teaching experience (preferred)
- Relevant Level 6 qualification
