New & Reconditioned Pallets & Packaging | UK Field-Based / Hybrid
We are seeking a motivated and commercially focused Area Sales Manager to drive growth across both new and reconditioned pallet sales and packaging, while developing long-term customer partnerships and supporting procurement opportunities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident relationship-builder who enjoys identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities, markets, and customer relationships
Manage and grow a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue and profit targets
Develop existing accounts through contracts, stock holding agreements, and value-added solutions
Work closely with customers to gather forecast information and support operational planning
Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Planning, Commercial, and Site Operations
Support promotional and networking activities, including LinkedIn and industry engagement
Monitor market trends, legislation, and customer requirements
Maintain accurate CRM and customer interaction records
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at Director level
Organised, proactive, and results-driven
Experience within manufacturing, logistics, packaging, or a related sector is desirable
Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong customer relationships
