Job Summary
Zia Pizza is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering orders safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service. This role requires good driving skills, punctuality, and a positive attitude. The ideal applicant will have previous delivery driving experience, a valid UK driving licence, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pizza orders and other menu items safely and promptly to customers.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Verify orders before leaving the store to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handle cash and card transactions professionally when required.
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service at all times.
- Maintain communication with the store team regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Assist with basic in-store duties during quieter periods, including food preparation support, cleaning, and stocking supplies.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing Zia Pizza.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of local roads and delivery areas.
- Strong time-management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in attitude.
- Experience using GPS navigation and delivery apps is advantageous.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods as required.
