We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our friendly dental practice. Duties
- Assisting dental practitioners during patient treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising dental instruments in accordance with health and safety standards
- Managing appointment scheduling and patient records efficiently using IT systems
- Greeting patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process
- Providing clear communication to patients regarding procedures and post-treatment care
- Handling administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining organised filing systems
- Supporting the dental team with general organisational duties to ensure the smooth running of the practice
- Upholding high standards of infection control and hygiene throughout the practice
Requirements
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Genuine interest in patient care and healthcare services
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Basic IT skills for managing appointments and patient records
- Previous experience in nursing or similar healthcare roles is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
- Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate professionalism at all times
- Willingness to learn new skills and develop within the role
