Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and engaging with patrons in a lively environment. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling payments and giving change.
- Monitor guest intoxication levels and intervene responsibly when necessary.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, promoting repeat business.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments, preferably within a restaurant or bar setting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the venue’s operating hours.
