Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Site Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction and site activities, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical skills within the construction industry.
Duties
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on-site
- Preparing sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organising materials
- Supporting tradespeople with basic tasks such as mixing materials or holding tools
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assisting with the transportation of materials around the site using manual handling techniques
- Assisting in the setup and dismantling of scaffolding or other temporary structures
- Reporting any safety hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Physically fit with good stamina for manual labour tasks
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
- Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is desirable but not essential
- Valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be organised, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality at all times

Pay: £80.00-£115.00 per day
