We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Venue Manager to oversee the daily operations of our venue, Boro Bar. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of events, maintaining high standards of customer service, and managing a dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant venue, delivering exceptional experiences for customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring all customer requirements are met with professionalism and efficiency
- Manage the venue’s operational activities, including scheduling, maintenance, and health & safety compliance
- Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to deliver outstanding customer services and uphold company standards
- Coordinate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions for their events
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure seamless event delivery
- Monitor financial aspects alongside company directors
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience for all visitors
- Ensure the venue adheres to all relevant regulations and health & safety protocols
Skills
- Proven management experience within the hospitality or events industry
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop a team
- Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly yet professional demeanour
- Ability to problem-solve swiftly and efficiently in dynamic environments
- Knowledge of health & safety standards relevant to venue management is desirable
- Must hold a Personal License
