A brilliant specialist secondary provision in Tower Hamlets is searching for a Specialist SEN Teacher to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic role for a qualified teacher who enjoys delivering creative, practical and highly personalised learning. The school places a strong focus on communication, confidence, independence and preparing pupils for life beyond the classroom.
You will be teaching small groups of secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, supported by experienced SEN TAs and a strong leadership team.

- Working closely with SEN TAs and wider support staff
- Focus on life skills, communication and independence
- QTS / QTLS required
Specialist SEN Teacher - Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status / QTLS
- SEN experience preferred
- Mainstream teachers with strong SEN experience will also be considered
- Calm, patient and adaptable
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Passionate about inclusive education
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
