We are working with a respected events business based in Herefordshire, this fast-growing local brand with a nationwide reach is seeking an ambitious and driven Operations and Logistics Manager on a full time, permanent basis.
Play a key role in supplying some of the UK’s most prestigious events and venues by leading a dedicated team of logistics and warehouse professionals. In this role, you will ensure the seamless movement, coordination and deployment of equipment, stock and infrastructure, helping to bring complex operations to life.
From initial planning through to delivery and de-rig, you will drive operational tasks, ensuring every aspect of the logistics function runs safely, efficiently and compliant with regulatory requirements. This is far more than a traditional logistics role; it requires strategic oversight of complex supply chain operations, including the management of an in-house fleet and third-party logistics partners, while maintaining the agility needed to support large-scale event environments.
What you can expect:
- Starting salary: circa £35,000, depending on experience
- Annual bonus based on personal performance

- 48 hours per week, with travel/overnight required during peak periods (summer)

What we are looking for:

You are practical and confident working alongside your team, supporting core operational activity such as vehicle loading, unloading, and on-site setup to ensure successful event delivery.
Essentials:
- Previous experience managing a fast-paced and complex logistics or supply chain operation
- Comfortable with UK travel, working in both an operational and office-based environment
- Experience with inventory management and stock control systems
- Good understanding of H&S requirements within warehouse and logistics environments
- Full UK driving licence essential

What you will be doing – the basics:
- Working closely with Event Managers to ensure all logistical requirements are delivered
- Planning and coordinating the movement of stock and equipment to events across the UK
- Manage the warehouse operation, ensuring efficient control of stock, equipment and assets
- Leading from the front and supporting logistics teams during busy event periods
- Team management including planning workloads, managing holidays, and ensuring procedures are followed
- Managing and forecasting stock requirements to support upcoming events
- Managing H&S compliance, equipment inspections and operational due diligence activities
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and asset tracking through internal systems
- Coordinating equipment maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of vehicles and event infrastructure
- Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers and contractors
- Reporting directly to senior management while collaborating closely with operational teams
