Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to client improvements on their sites, utilising good practice engineering and methodologies.
The Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across various client sites, particularly in sewage treatment processes
Responsibilities
- Analyse existing processes to identify areas for optimisation using root cause analysis techniques.
- Develop process improvements through on site reviews.
- Troubleshoot automated equipment and enhance process control.
- Oversee on site installation projects from start to finish.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies by analysing process data and applying good processing principles.
- Conduct failure analysis to determine root causes of process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Wide range of work criteria to cover all areas of operation, installation and maintenance required on sewage treatment works
- Support other parts of the team in process optimisation, improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in process engineering within a processing environment, preferably with sewage sludge or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of sludge treatment/dewatering systems
- Proficiency in reading and altering schematics
- Good understanding of PLC , and automation systems.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively to resolve complex process issues.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and document technical procedures clearly. Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
