Job Summary
Shustoke Barn is a stunning wedding venue in the Warwickshire countryside and is run by Cripps & Co - an established company with many years of experience in running wedding venues throughout the UK.
We are looking for an experienced bar staff member ahead of a busy wedding season to support our current bar team.
This role is casual and includes flexible working, pre-dominantly evening shifts and weekends and we offer good rates of pay. Our style is relaxed and informal, yet professional and we are looking for someone who has a positive, hard-working attitude.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our bar team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Prepare cocktails using provided recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service while taking drink orders and answering any queries.
- Handle transactions accurately.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure the bar is well-equipped.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and attended to.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- A friendly disposition with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.18-£13.58 per hour
