We are looking to fill the role of Operations Associate, due to expansion of the business, as we grow.
Job Description:
Operational Logistics & Resource Coordination:
- Support the inventory management function, including receiving, storing, and organising products.
- Conduct annual inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of Installations and assist with forecasting and planning.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.
- Provide support to field teams.
- Collect and report field data.
- Optimise the allocation and utilisation of field resources.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Office Administration:
- Maintain office supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
- Process and book in internal deliveries.
General Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to office and office/warehouse staff, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and assisting with inquiries.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and document management.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing workstations and necessary paperwork.
Problem Solving:
- Identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Provide on-site support as needed.
Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with field teams and internal stakeholders providing clear and timely updates on operational status.
Requirements:
- GCSE’s in English & Mathematics; additional education or certification in office administration or warehouse management is a plus.
- Experience in office administration and/or warehouse operations is desired.
- Experience and/or awareness of general practical skills such as hand & power tools & a tape measures preffered.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with Strong organisational and time management skills.
