Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive reports and analysis documents to support financial planning processes.
- Assist in developing personalised financial plans by gathering and analysing client information.
- Maintain accurate and organised client records using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Support advisers with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
- Conduct research on financial products and market trends to inform advice strategies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during all client interactions and documentation processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative procedures within the team.
Skills
- Proven experience in report writing, analysis skills, and financial services.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information simply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with IT systems relevant to financial planning is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of financial planning principles and customer service best practices.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise workload effectively.

As the Financial Paraplanner / Adviser your role will be mainly involved in the investments and pensions and will be responsible for providing technical paraplanning support and/or advice, including financial research, report writing, formulation of advice and liaison with providers. The position will involve direct contact with the Advisor’s portfolio of clients as well as new clients, whilst working in tandem with other team members.
You will be an experienced Paraplanner / Adviser with at least 2 years experience and will have completed the industry standard Level 4 exams. You will be a Paraplanner / Adviser that enjoys working closely with the client portfolio and working in a team whilst adding value to the advice proposition.
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
