An Afternoon Shift Cleaner is required for Amphenol Invotec Ltd. The business produces bespoke printed circuit boards for many different industries, using complex processes and machinery, and therefore a clean, dust-free and professional environment must be maintained. This role will predominantly be working alone, although within the business working hours, so safety is a priority.
Duties will include;
- Cleaning of office corridors on 2 levels – mopping floors and wiping doors and touchpoints
- Cleaning 3 x stairwells, plus any glass panels
- Hoovering open plan office carpet ( no desks need to be touched)
- Cleaning of offices/meeting rooms
- Clearing meeting rooms after any meetings
- Empty all office bins (there shouldn’t any individual bins) including food waste bins
- Cleaning/disinfecting 3 x toilet/urinal areas, replenish paper towels and toilet rolls, ensuring the pipework, walls and floors are clean
- Reporting any repairs to any areas which could cause a H&S risk or are cosmetic
- Cleaning / disinfecting of canteen area – including wiping fridges, microwaves and washing utensils/crockery, wiping doors and touchpoints
- Restock ordering of supplies and cleaning products
- Minor maintenance tasks– ie displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks
- Buffering the wooden floors – reception / offices / corridors
- Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and compliance with universal precautions
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning solution / equipment and their uses
- May need to cover morning cleaning of shopfloor walkways/wiping down doors/touchpoints/First Aid room
- Need to have at least 1 year cleaning experience within domestic or industrial environment
- Have received training to required standard – BICS would be preferred
- Ability to work quickly and swiftly

- Industrial or Domestic cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
