We support commercial vehicle operators, fleet maintenance providers and workshops across the UK with services including DPF cleaning, DOC and SCR servicing, exhaust remanufacturing, substrate replacement and complete emissions system repairs.
Working across the HGV, bus, coach, agricultural and commercial vehicle sectors, we help customers reduce downtime, maintain emissions compliance and maximise the service life of expensive exhaust and aftertreatment equipment.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and proactive Part-Time Driver & Workshop Support Operative to assist with deliveries, collections, customer site visits and general workshop support activities. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working in a practical engineering environment and supporting a busy technical team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites throughout the UK to deliver, collect, install and inspect emission exhaust aftertreatment systems.
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly while transporting tools, equipment, materials and parts.
- Assist workshop technicians with the preparation, assembly and movement of equipment and components.
- Load, unload and organise equipment, materials and stock.
- Conduct basic equipment inspections and report any faults or issues identified.
- Responsibly maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, site visits, inspections, work completed and materials used, including completing reports and service documentation.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, suppliers and site personnel.
- Follow company Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices at all times.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Good practical and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically capable of handling equipment and materials safely.
- Reliable, trustworthy and organised.
- Comfortable travelling throughout the UK when required.
Desirable
- Experience in engineering, maintenance, vehicle mechanics, transport or a trade-related environment.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices.

Job Details

Schedule
- Monday to Friday.
- Working hours will vary according to business and customer requirements.
- Advance notice of work assignments will be provided where possible.
- Occasional early starts and late finishes may be required.
- Overtime available.
