Role: Mobile Refrigeration Engineer (HVAC)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + Door-to-Door Pay
Location: West Midlands
Hours: Monday – Friday (Full-Time)
We are working with a well-established building services and facilities management contractor that delivers maintenance and reactive services across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC Engineer to join their mobile engineering team.
This role would suit a hands-on engineer with strong fault-finding skills across refrigeration and HVAC systems, comfortable working independently on commercial environments.

Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Work on equipment including chillers, VRV/VRF systems, split AC, AHUs, and heat pumps
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Complete job reports and compliance documentation
- Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota
Requirements:
- F-Gas Category 1 (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning / HVAC or Mechanical Building Services
- Ideally looking for someone who also has Gas qualifications
- Proven experience working on commercial refrigeration and HVAC plant
- Strong electrical fault-finding knowledge (18th Edition desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
