The role of the Procurement Officer is crucial to the effective operations of Edrington UK. Your role is to help ensure that EUK secures high quality products and services at the right price in the right time and in a compliant and low risk manner. Well-developed procurement experience and strong, diligent and collaborative contract management skills are key attributes. The role contributes across a wide range of levels in the organisation including KPI reporting and therefore a broad range of project management skills are essential. You will need to be a results orientated, organised team player, with the ability to quickly establish priorities in a fast paced environment. Attention to detail is key in this role as well as experience in delivering commercial contracts. Great communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are a requirement along with well-developed planning and organisation skills. The Procurement Officer role has to adapt continually to business needs, whilst managing personal objectives. The role demands the ability to influence cross-functionally at all levels.
Make an Impact
Reporting to the Head of Finance UK & Western Europe, key responsibilities include;
Procurement and contract management - Responsible for supporting the Head of Finance with the administration of all major indirect procurement projects and contracts (e.g. Fleet, Utilities, Marketing agencies etc.).
Supplier on-boarding and Due diligence
Company car fleet management
Corporate Travel management
Other procurement responsibilities such as (but not limited to), mange EUK Global Procurement control requirements
Your Talent and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong influencing and negotiating skills, alongside excellent time management and the ability to effectively prioritise a varied workload. You will have a strong focus on delivery, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and be confident adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment while driving continuous improvement. Flexibility in managing multiple stakeholders and competing demands is essential, as is clear and professional written and verbal communication. You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential. We are looking for an organised, self-motivated and confident individual with a positive, proactive approach—someone who demonstrates curiosity, takes ownership, shows leadership within their area, and brings a solution-focused, ‘can do’ attitude. A strong work ethic, passion, ambition and a commitment to delivering a great customer experience are key to success in this role.
