Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Part Time Contract Cleaner to join our growing team. Working within a team of three, the successful candidate will complete 12 hours per week in a busy public transport station.
Shift patterns will include some mornings (6am-9am), evenings (3pm- 6pm- Only at times of holiday leave and sickness) and some weekends on a rolling rota (1 in every 2 weekends- Morning and Evening shift as above)- each shift 3 hours long.
Multiple shifts may be completed on the same day, enabling the successful candidate to complete their contracted hours per week in a few days. Please note that the early shift begins at 6am, meaning that the successful candidate will need to be able to get to site in the early morning.
Extra hours may be available to successful candidate if desired.
Duties:
- Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Sanitise and disinfect surfaces regularly
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies in washrooms and common areas
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
Skills:
- Experience in commercial cleaning is highly preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning practices
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Ability to work within a busy transport station
