We are a vibrant seafront hotel seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member/Waiter to join our team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest service in a bar, restaurant and function environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, being a team player and have a keen eye for detail. You will be available to work weekends and bank holidays, with occasional weekends off on request - we always do our best to be flexible where possible. Previous restaurant or catering experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic team dedicated to providing outstanding service.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, offering menu recommendations and upselling where appropriate
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with guests during their meal and addressing any concerns promptly
- Handle payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, service stations, and dining spaces
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including food safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Good communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times
