We are currently recruiting a Sales Ledger Administrator to join our Finance team based in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual to play a key role in supporting the smooth and accurate processing of sales invoices within a busy and supportive finance function.
The Sales Ledger Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate job and invoice data, supporting month-end reporting, and delivering a high standard of customer service when responding to invoice and account queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and process job tickets from drivers across multiple divisions
- Prepare weekly and monthly spreadsheets for customer authorisation
- Monitor job schedules to ensure jobs are completed, recorded, and invoiced accurately
- Issue sales invoices daily, ensuring all supporting documentation is included
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on spreadsheets and job schedules
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries
- Support reserves and work-in-progress (WIP) information for month-end reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a sales ledger, invoicing, or finance administration role
- Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident user of Excel and finance/accounting systems
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience using Sage Accounts is desirable but not essential
