Production Operative Wrexham
Location: Oak Rd, Wrexham LL13 9RG
About the role:
We are looking to recruit a Production Operator working on a variety of production processes at our Wrexham site. Due to the nature of the job, candidates must be over 18 years of age.Your main duties will be to manufacture pallets in a fast-paced environment operating a pneumatic nail gun in accordance with specification and safe operating procedures (SOP) in line with risk assessments. You must comply with site rules and regulations and always work safely. This involves a high degree of manual handling, lifting bending and twisting. A driving licence is essential.
Hours of Work:
You are required to work a two-shift rotating shift pattern.
One week working Monday to Friday 05:50 to 14:00 following week working 13:50 to 22:00.
You must have a means of transport that will allow you to arrive on site before your shift commences.
Salary: From £12.77 per hour (with attendance bonus).
Expected hours: 38.33 per week
Key responsibilities:
· Good communication skills
· The ability to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative as and when required.
· These roles will require compliance to health and safety procedures and written work instructions.
· The successful candidates must have the ability to reasonably communicate in English as well as comprehend written instructions.
Health and safety forms a large part of the culture at James Jones. It is mandatory whilst working on site you adhering to all safe systems of work and wear or use all personal protective equipment issued to you within designated areas.
Training:
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage although full training will be given.
