Looking For a Site Engineer.
Role Overview:
The Site Engineer is responsible for supporting the delivery of construction and civil engineering projects by setting out works, ensuring quality control, and maintaining health and safety standards. This role assists site management teams in delivering projects safely, on time, and within specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Carrying out site surveys and levelling.
- Ensuring works are completed to the required quality standards.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
- Assisting with site documentation and reporting.
- Monitoring progress and reporting issues to site management.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, labor teams, and suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supporting QA checks and inspections.
- Recording site measurements and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting with permits, RAMS, and site paperwork.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer in construction or civil engineering.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of setting out equipment and surveying instruments.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid CSCS Card (essential).
- SMSTS/SSSTS (desirable).
- Full UK driving license (preferred).
Preferred Experience:
- Roads and infrastructure.
- Groundworks and drainage.
- RC frame or structural works.
- Utilities or highways projects.
- Large-scale construction or civils projects.
-Rate : £45,000 to £60,000 Per year depending on experiance.
