Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Junior Installation Engineer to join our Operations Team.
As one of our specially selected Engineers, you will be working with our experienced team of Installation Engineers in the Operations department.
Aura’s engineering teams are involved in the installation and integration of high-end corporate, education, and retail sector audio-visual systems, including video walls, digital signage, control systems, and conferencing systems.
This role is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to build a hands-on career in the AV industry. Our engineers work on a wide variety of projects, with opportunities to travel throughout the UK and internationally. No two days are the same, and the role offers excellent prospects for training, development, and career progression.
Main Duties
- Carry out first and second fix installation activities on time and to the required standard
- Working under the instruction from Lead engineers and Project Managers, but also to think laterally and suggest engineering solutions on site
- Working from schematics, terminations sheets, site plans and drawings, including any changes are reflected on the schematics
- To ensure that systems are made ready for handover from installation to commissioning, including documentation.
- Collaborating with other departments and teams to ensure seamless project integration and delivery
- Installation of Video Conferencing Systems
- Installation of Audio-Visual Systems
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience working to tight deadlines and/or in a fast-paced environment
- Efficient, methodical and organised administrative skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and ability to retain information
- Experienced in IT or AV industries is highly desirable
- A full, clean UK driving license is essential (you will be provided with a company van)
Desirable:
- Holding a current ECS or CSCS card is an advantage

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
