Kitchen Cook
Superstars is seeking a highly organised, independent and efficient working individual to cook large quantities of food for summer holiday clubs HAF programs (Holiday Activities and Food Programme).
Job Type:
· £120 per day
· A food handling/safety certificate is advantageous.
· A driving license is not a requirement but will be advantageous.
· Prior experience working in fast paced cooking environments will be advantageous.
Job Responsibilities:
· Highly Organised – Ability to work under time constraints and produce high quality and quantity of food. Food stock must be monitored and efficiently organised to ensure expired produce waste is minimised and fresh food is being ordered correctly and promptly.
· Batch Cooking – Preparelarge quantities of basic one-pot meals and/or sandwich’s, according to standardised recipes.
· Ingredient Preparation – Efficiently prepare large quantities of ingredients.
· Food Safety Compliance – Thoroughly ensuring all health and safety regulations are being followed and met.
o Including: secure food storage, correctly labelled and dated food, ensuring expiry dates are tracked and monitored, thorough allergen and dietary protocols.
· Cleaning and Sanitation – Keeping work stations clean and sanitised throughout shifts, ensure maintenance of kitchen equipment.
· Collaboration – Ability to efficiently work with a cooking assistant to ensure punctual preparation, high standard of food including portion size, taste and delivery of menu items.

Scheduled Shifts: (08:00AM-16:00PM)
· Monday to Thursday each week
· From Monday 27th July until Thursday 20th August
