Business Development Manager
Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch each day) with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday.
You will be expected on occasion to work later in the evening or weekends as business needs require.
Key Objectives
As the Aftersales Operative you will be responsible for the efficient coordination of trailer parts being dispatched to end use customers. You will be responsible for liaising with the stores, aftersales and repair teams, ensuring stock is in the correct location and dispatching parts for aftersales staff and end use customers as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the receipt of all incoming goods for the aftersales and repair teams, ensuring this is accurately checked and recorded utilising our bespoke WMS for all aspects of inventory control.
- Ensure the correct product and quantities are accurately received.
- Responsible for the location, allocation and movement of stock
- Reporting of damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors.
- Locating the correct goods as per customer orders using bespoke WMS
- Inspecting goods for damage or faults before they are packed
- Loading packaged goods onto couriers for delivery
- Completing paperwork or entering data into software to allow orders to be tracked
- Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining despatch area housekeeping
- Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist within the stores operations team, flexibility required
- Maintaining a safe working environment at all times

Key Skills and Experience:
- Goods in experience
- Hands on materials/stores experience within manufacturing or engineering
- Resilient to outside pressures to alter working day and/ delivery schedules.
- Effective communication skills and structured approach to record keeping
- The ability to work well within a team environment as well as individually.
- IT skills including the use of tablets/computer software is essential
- Counterbalance/Reach Truck Licence is essential
- Organised, proactive and self-motivated individual
- Ability to ensure production output target and quality is maintained
- Able to work under pressure and go beyond the call of duty when required.
