This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Room leader to join a wonderful team.
We are open all year round and do not offer term time positions.
We are open between 7.30 and 6pm
We have vacancies for full time 7.30am-6pm x4 or 5x 8 hour shifts
We are very flexible and will try to accommodate the hours you need to fit you and your work life balance.
Job Specification
· To lead a team of staff and be able to delegate.
· To liaise with outside agencies and parents.
· To promote a happy, safe environment for all children and staff.
· To provide a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework to meet the needs of the children within their age group.
· To help manage the team effectively, to agree and set team goals and monitor the achievement of progress against targets.
·Good knowledge and experience of the EYFS
The ideal candidate should have:
- Good communication skills with children, their families and colleagues
- Experience of being a Room Leader
- Excellent understanding of planning and assessment to improve children's outcomes
- A commitment to the care and well being of all children at the nursery
- A positive, happy attitude and a willingness to maintain continuous professional development through a variety of training
hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in childcare and education
