About the Role
This Business Development Executive role works within the global law firm's Business Development & Marketing team to provide comprehensive practice group support in the Cayman Islands.
The Business Development & Marketing team brings together practice group expertise to maintain, grow and support client relationships and law firm referral relationships.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting on BD trips, ensuring that the purpose and objectives of those trips are scoped and agreed, the team is fully briefed, and follow-up actions are captured in the CRM system and implemented

Supporting on the coordination and participation at conferences and seminars and events

Conducting market research and analysis
-
Maintaining repository for client pitches and Requests for Proposals

Supporting on the drafting of pitch proposals/Requests for Proposals for new business opportunities
-
Supporting the preparation of annual business plans and budgets
-
Track and report on business development activities, helping to demonstrate ROI where possible

Confidently use internal BD and marketing technologies and databases for planning, targeting and measurement

Supporting on the preparation of directory rankings
EXPERIENCE

They will be an excellent communicator with good organisational and team player skills. Attention to detail and the ability to handle a consistent and varied workload is essential. The individual's skills and experience will include:

Minimum three years' of relevant experience (professional services experience preferred), but candidates with experience of working in a similar role will also be considered

Experience with InterAction and be highly proficient in MS applications including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-
A degree in Marketing, Business, Law or other related field is required, and a relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred

Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and global legal market and excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience with InterAction or similar CRM systems; with experience in maximising the data value

Ability to work with all levels of staff and senior management
-
Highly organized and detailed focused with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
