Summary
We are seeking a passionate Sports Coach to join our team in Berkhamsted. Based at one of our vibrant centres in the city, you will play a vital role in inspiring community members to participate in sports and physical activities, aligning with our mission to promote health and wellness for all.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging sports coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Support the development of participants by providing guidance and encouragement.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist in planning and organizing sports events and activities.
- Promote a positive environment that fosters teamwork, respect, and enjoyment.
- Maintain equipment and ensure facilities are used responsibly.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance program offerings.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of coaching practices.
- Qualifications England Badminton level 2 OR England Basketball level 2 OR Pickleball leaders award
- Proven experience in sports coaching or related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire participants.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to sports activities.
- Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are preferred.
- Enthusiasm for promoting active lifestyles.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and commitment to community engagement.
