SEN Tutor
We are looking for tutors with a passion for supporting SEN students.
We are looking for tutors who can provide 1:1 tuition for children and young people with a variety of learning needs, including ASD, AHD and dyslexia.
This particular job -
Year 4 student with ASD, sensory needs and Speech and Language diagnosis.
Uses non-verbal means of communication e.g. eye contact, taking adults’ hands and using vocalisations.
Uses App at home to support communication needs.
Student will need support with engagement and accessing activities: a bespoke and nurtuing teaching and learning approach.
Initial rapport and relationship building is key.
Interests include, Ipad, playing games, puzzles and being active. Learning through play.
SEND experience and working with students with a diagnosis of ASD and Speech and Language needs is essential for the role.
The tuition can be between 10:00am - 15:30pm - Monday to Friday (Except Tuesday mornings)
3 sessions per week and sessions can be delivered up to 3 hours per session - build up engagement.

- The gross pay for this role is between £25 p/h - £38 p/h

The role:
- This role will involve providing support children with a variety of different needs.
- Mon-Fri - variation of hours.
Requirements
- Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
- Hold the right to work in the UK
