This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy logistics company as a Bookings Administrator. The role involves supporting the day-to-day administration of transport bookings, customer service, operational support within a fast-paced office environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, hauliers and internal departments to ensure bookings and operational tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 , Monday to Friday

Job Description
- Accurately book all inbound deliveries, into correct slots depending on requirements.
- Review inbound & outbound arrival times & discuss repeat offenders with higher management and customers.
- Accurately check & add any additional charges advised on inbound paperwork.
- Assist finance department with general queries on additional charges.
- Download and Upload all supporting evidence of non-conformances for Inbound & Outbound loads to the Customer Portal.
- Collate, upload & file all inbound paperwork & trip sheets in a timely manner.
- Manage and monitor the shared mailbox
Customer Service and Bookings Administration
- Monitor incoming emails and ensure all enquiries are responded to or actioned promptly
- Support same-day administration tasks, including uploading completed inbound paperwork, contacting late arriving / no showing hauliers to rebook.
- Assist with daily administrative duties such as handling emails, speaking with customers/hauliers and forwarding communications to the relevant departments
- Provide effective support and communication between the Customer Service team, customers and other departments within the business
- Carry out general office administration including answering calls, data entry and filing.
- Work with support teams to resolve IT or system-related issues affecting the department
- Provide holiday and absence cover where required
Candidate Requirements
- Experience within a UK Logistics/Transport setting
- Strong IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems and software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, including good punctuation and reliability
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
