About Us
Renewafuel is a growing renewable energy company specialising in the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps for domestic properties. As demand for sustainable heating solutions increases, we are expanding our team and looking for a Level 3 Qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient solutions across the region.
The Role
As a Plumbing & Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of air source heat pumps in domestic properties. While experience with heat pumps is beneficial, it is not essential, as full training will be provided.
This role offers excellent career progression opportunities within the renewable energy sector. We are looking for an experienced Plumber with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to support the installation of air source heat pump systems and associated plumbing works.
You’ll be working alongside electricians and renewable installers to deliver full system installations for residential customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of pipework and plumbing systems for air source heat pumps in domestic properties to the highest industry standard
- Cylinder upgrades, radiator changes, and system modifications
- Assisting with the installation of renewable energy systems (solar and batteries where required)
- Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and best practices
- Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues on-site
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately
- Work as part of a team to complete installations efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant regulations and company procedures.
- Liaise with customers and provide excellent service during installations.
- Attend training to develop expertise in heat pump installations.
- Level 3 qualification in Plumbing & Heating (NVQ or equivalent).
- Experience in domestic plumbing and heating installations.
- Knowledge of Air Source Heat Pumps is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
